SURPRISE!
We're not a home based business anymore!!!!! NWB is now renting a commercial space - a space we are calling HQ. A true Headquarters for our Wood Flower Design Studio and so much more.
For those of you who have followed along with NWB for some time, you know that I started at my dining room table in 2018. It was a side gig that was a lot of fun, but soon became so much more (but stayed super fun too!)
You may remember in 2019 and 2020 I expanded to a designated studio space in my basement - and in 2021 I was able to take over most of the basement and build a dream home studio on a budget. I shared all about it over on Instagram!
Here I am in that dream basement studio space! It served me so well as a team of one!
It is now 2022 and business has grown enough to hire employees - who need a space other than my home. Upon searching for commercial spaces, I couldn't find the right artist studio to expand NWB easily.... but I kept my eyes and heart open for the right space, not just any space.
After praying on it, I stumbled across this property, toured it and started to dream BIG! It is the previous location of Suick Lure Manufacturing, and is now the home to North Wood Blooms LLC.
So what does this mean!?!??
1. It means that business is going well - thank you for your support! I am hoping that NWB can have larger launches and more impact spreading beauty and joy to you through what we do.
2. It means that you can come pick up your orders at headquarters! When you select local pickup, we will contact you via email when your order is ready to pickup and we will set an appointment to come pick up your order at our new location! (630 Industrial Park Road here in Antigo WI)
3. We are hoping to plan dates for shopping events and even some make and take experiences right here at the shop in 2023! Be sure to
sign up for e-mails to know when this is happening! We are still transitioning into the space for the end of this year.
4. It also means that NWB may be posting more about employment opportunities in the future. For now, our small but mighty team will be doing all we can to spread beauty and joy to you through the wooden flowers we paint, create and arrange by hand.
Can you believe it!? I can't believe it. But it's happening! NWB is not just a one woman show anymore. It's not just a hobby or side gig. We are a company here to serve you and are now able to make an even bigger impact that we could ever dream of from the basement.
